Re: NWC and softsynth Reply #1 – 2004-05-15 05:11 am In Tools-Options click the MIDI tab. Click on the softsynth from the left box "Available play devices". Click on the double right arrow (-->>) between the two boxes. The device you chose should now be the top one in the right box "Devices used by playback". In this box, select any other devices that may appear in it and click the double left arrow to send them back over to the ieft box. You should have what you want now. Quote Selected
Re: NWC and softsynth Reply #2 – 2004-05-15 04:42 pm DXI and VST are 2 very advanced features supported only by the professional sequencers such as Cakewalk Sonar and Cubase. NWC and most of the other ordinary music notation programs don't support them.Since both DXI and VST instruments don't create any standard MIDI port for windows, you have no way to use them in NWC.
