Re: Downloading drum patches... Reply #1 – 2004-01-13 02:26 am You should have the "Drumref" file downloaded onto your computer. Use the notes specified for each instrument's sound on a staff using channel 10 as the MIDI Channel. To change the MIDI channel to 10, press F2. Then go to the MIDI tab and select channel 10. Enter the notes for the instrument(s) you need. For Example:A snare drum sound will be produced when you enter a D natural below the bass clef staff.Look at your drumref for more instruments. There are also places to download more percussion sounds. Go to www.noteworthysoftware.com, then click on NWC Scriptorium. Go to Helpful Files from NWC Users and look through there for more sounds. Hope this is clear. ThanksDaniel Carrasco Quote Selected

Re: Downloading drum patches... Reply #3 – 2004-01-13 05:47 pm the Drumref file is in the Samples directory of your standard NWC installation.I don't understand what you mean by "I downloaded an NW file that has drum sounds". Drums are some notes of the percussion set; this set is accessible via the MIDI channel number 10. Look at the drumref staves setup, or re-read reply 1 hereover, where it is clearly stated. For more details, it was already discussed in this forum!Unless you're talking of sound fonts, there is nothing more to download.
