Demo jukebox javascript

This message is ONLY for those who know HTML and JavaScript, so you could use and edit a demo to suit your own needs.

No music there, just a script demo. I recently discovered that the obvious method for doing this, which works with all recent browsers on Windows, does not work with any popular (or even unpopular) browsers on Mac. The problem is how to change the music file for an embedded player, using script, without leaving your web page, and without a popup player palette.

My script works for recent browsers on Windows or Mac. The demo is set for mp3, but could be used for other formats. The method complies with the changes to IE (expected soon) in response to patent litigation.

Please keep in mind that this message forum is for the benefit of Noteworthy Composer music notation software. But some NWC users might like to exhibit their compositions, recorded to a format such as mp3, on their own web sites. This demo shows how. It is not a message thread on the general subject of scripting or mp3.
