Connecting MIDI Equiptment Under Xp

After reading most of the posts concerning MIDI In connection under windows Xp it is quite clear that the system needs new device drivers for it. Such so that microsoft needs to know about this, if anyone out there has a contact adress for the device drivers section of microsoft please post it so that we can all have a go at them. My MIDI keyboard worked fine on 98 but on Xp i get not a single nite when trying to use the MIDI in, the MIDI out is fine, the sound quality is really good. But the MIDI in dosnt even show up on the drop down table of my MIDI devices. Please everyone, get together and lets get some new devices for the MIDI in section.

It is my understanding that device drivers are provided by hardware manufacturers, not by M.S., which merely forwards the stuff.

In other words, rots of ruck.

It would seem that NoteWorthy would gain the MOST by figuring this out. I enjoyed their DEMO but did not BUY because I could not get the MIDI keyboard recognized.

Well, I don't speak for NWC. But if there is a problem getting your MIDI keyboard recognized in XP, dollars to doughnuts the problem lies with the keyboard device driver, provided by the keyboard manufacturer.
