Multi-channel midi echo

I’d like to echo my midi input on channel one to the output across four or more of the other midi channels simultaneously in real time – ie to effectively play five or more midi-driven instruments on a tone generator at the same time.  Please advise me how to do this and what software (for Windows 2000), if any, I would need to use.
