Moving song into Word

In a previous message, the instruction was:

1. In NoteWorthy go to Page Setup and select the staves that you want printed from the contents tab.
2. Go to the Preview tab and select preview

When I select preview I get the following error message:
"thereis no default printer, a printer must be installed before this operation can be performed"

Is there a work-around for this?

Easy as pie. The printer does not have to be a "real" printer. All that is necessary is that a printer driver be installed in your system. The reason is that the print preview function, and the WMF export function (which comes from print preview) gets some of its parameters from the printer driver.

In your Windows control panel, go to printers, and install one. Almost anything will do. Some printers probably have the necessary setup information already in your system, others will require the Windows CD.
