soprano saxophone sound font

I've been looking for long time but unable to find any good soprano saxophone sound font for my noteworthy composer (even can't find). The following web sites also not available.

Anybody knows where can I find this?

Hank's recommended site sure has a lot of stuff!

But I always wonder about sites that collect things provided by others. Who originated the stuff? Has permission (if necessary) been given to post it?

I ask becuase there are any number of sites (not just N*p***r or M*r****s) dedicated to the principle that anything not nailed down must be "free." I am concerned that some of the "free" MIDIs that I see on the Inernet are actually copyrighted works sequenced by professional musicians who expect payment (and who presumably obtained performance rights from the songwriters). Also, I wonder if any SF2 files are actually copied out of resources intended to accompany a particular sound system, but not intended for those who don't have that hardware.

This is also true of (text) fonts. Some so-called "free" fonts to be found on directories appear to be copies of commercial fonts, where a font editor has been used to strip cpoyright information and re-name the thing.

Back to my point regarding music: Many music resources seem to have no claim or origin or ownership. Either that kind of file does not contain the information, or it has been stripped.

Does anyone know whether it is possible to look into a music resource (MIDI, SF2, MP3) and determine its origins?

I don't know about sf2's, but midi files can (and often do) contain text information. These are readily displayed on VanBasco's Midi Player (the easy way). Alternately, (the harder way) convert the midi to text using either Piet van Oostrum's mf2t, or Jeff Glatt's "Midi Disassembler," then search for text items.

Similarly, mp3's can have "id3" tags, there are v1 and v2 variants (v2 allows more information). These are displayed by WinAmp's "info" option, also by the mp3 plugin for Irfanview (but v1 only, if I'm not mistaken). mp3 furthermore allows for a "copyright" flag to be set.

Of course, anything that can be added can also be stripped or changed by someone who knows how to. Just as for fonts, jpeg images, even .exe's and .dll's.
