How do I put a Tremolo on a staff?

You can add tremolo marks by using any music symbol font that contains them, assigned to one of your User Font slots. Boxmarks (available at the Scriptorium is one possibility.

If you want the tremolo to sound correctly also, make another (hiddn) staff with the notes spelled out, and mute your visible staff.
