More fonts

I was wondering whether NWC has alternate fonts for the scores themselves, not text, but the actual scores, to make them look medieval or something like that.
Thanks in advance

I'm assuming you're talking about a "handwritten" font to make a score look like actual manuscript? If it was in a "medieval" font, you would have a tough time recognizing the notation unless you're proficient in the (insert name for medieval notation here - it's slipped my mind) style.

The answer to your question is no, NWC does not support any different fonts for the notes - although if you search the forums you will find a font for percussion noteheads.

Repeating myself (sorry about that):

NWC uses a font for note-heads, note-flags, clefs, and a few other things. But note-stems, beams, and many other things are "drawn" rather than derived from a font.

Without a major program change, NWC can be user-hacked to provide an alternative style for the font objects. This was the subject of my percussion font. In the case of Medieval, it would be possible to substitute things like closed or open diamonds for the usual closed or open oval note-heads. But it would not be possible to make the notation change with pitch (as with fasola).

The strategy used by NWC is not unique to NWC. I suppose that most music notation program developers had not imagined that, in a world of computerized music, anyone would find a need for a printout that would look like Medieval script.

And that reminds me:

If the monastaries had had computers, the music would have been Midieval rather than Medieval.
