Staff style

I will try to explain a problem that has nothing to do with spacing of notes. Please excuse my english again.

I often have a score with a 4 voices choir, and a piano accompagnement. As normal, I select « style orchestral » for the voices, and « upper/lower grand staff » for the piano.

The problem is that the appearance is wrong.

We should have a thin vertical line from staff 1 to staff 6, plus a thick vertical line from staff 1 to staff 4 (with oblique lines above staff 1 and below staff 4), plus a curly brace from staff 5 to staff 6.

The thin line and curly brace are OK, but the thick vertical line continues after staff 4 (up to staff 6), and there is no oblique line below staff 4 (neither below staff 6, anyway).

Could this be fixed in a future release ?

Many thanks.

This looks like one of the only BUGS I have seen in NoteWorthy Composer. It seems as if any time you choose the orchestral option on any one staff, all the staves then have the thick vertical line. This bug was in NWC 1.55b (or what ever)as well.

Is this really a program bug? My understanding is that compound staves are derived from templates. Presumably, all that is required is an alternative template.

I don't think there is whatever magic in templates. By the way, I believe that templates are just normal scores. The only thing that makes compound staves is the choice of a staff style (Edit Staff - F2).
