I must be stupid

I Read the entire 1003 thread (186 Threads Long) and still do not know how to convert my NoteWorthy files into MIDI's. Could someone please tell me how, and please do so like I am 6 years old please. Thank you.

Click File (upper left corner of window). Click Save As... which opens the Save As... dialog box. Click the little pulldown arrow near the bottom of screen where it says "Save as Type". Select Type 1 midi file. Enter or change the filename as desired. Click Save.

Fred,
Thanks, that was a huge help. Sometimes it is the simple things which pose the biggest problem.
Now if someone could tell me how to get my Audio Compositor to covert my file into a piano solo, that would be great?

I wrote several piano solo's with NWC, but when I coverted them to WAV's, it sounded like a music box or something. Imagine my horror.
Please help.
Thanks

The sound quality of a WAV file depends upon the quality of the software (synthesizer or sound fonts) that converts MIDI instructions (from NWC) into digitized sound. That is, the WAV is not a property of anything in NWC. It is the same with real instruments: junky piano = junky sound. Other contributors to this forum know a lot more about this than I do, and there are many other forum threads devoted to the subject.
