Re: Lyrics - adding several verses Reply #1 – 2000-03-31 05:00 am Sure. CNTL-L to get into the lyric editor dialog, configuration tab, select number of desired lyric lines. Then you go to each lyric tab to enter the verses. They will be printed 'on top' of each other in your printed output or print preview. Quote Selected
Re: Lyrics - adding several verses Reply #2 – 2000-03-31 05:00 am Noteworthy cannot print the extra verses underneath the score. You'll need to import the NWC-generated WMF file into WordPerfect or Adobe PageMaker (or your favorite desktop publisher or high-end word processor), and insert the extra verses with some other tool. You're English, aren't you?American hymnals generally put all verses between the staves, although some only put the first 3 or 4 verses there. Re: Lyrics - adding several verses Reply #3 – 2000-03-31 05:00 am Yes, it can be be done and it is almost easy. Just insert the lyrics you want using Insert Text (with the Lyric Font) under the last line in the song. The only hassle is the limitation in the amout of text you can insert. The way around this is to insert the verses in two columns, as is often done anyway. It is best to do this after the song is laid out, otherwise the text will move.Note to NWC Support: Can you increase the length of the text field so text can span an entire line? Re: Lyrics - adding several verses Reply #4 – 2000-04-12 04:00 am I finally found a music program that will allow me to do plain song. The problem I am having is installing lyrics. Musictime has an easy way to install lr\yrics but it would not allow me to do plain song. From what i read in these responses, you have to do a lot of cut and pasting. Happy I found noteworthy but very dissapointed in the lyric department. Please help! Quote Selected
Re: Lyrics - adding several verses Reply #5 – 2000-04-14 04:00 am Hi John,I had the same trouble as you... for a moment!I simply noted the first verse, and then copied the page (in Print Preview) as a meta file.I pasted this into Microsoft Word, and add paragraphs underneath for my other verses.Noteworthy is the coolest!FMB Quote Selected
