Enharmonic Transposition???

If if transpose a part and it ends up in the key of C-sharp, how the heck can I get it to read in D-flat?

Seven sharps is confounding my French Horn Player (also a Noteworthy owner).

I love synchronicity. I answered this very question yesterday on the "preview" forum. Here's what I said:

Try this:

1. Tools/Force Accidentals
2. Change key signature from 7 sharps to 5 flats
3. Tools/Tranpose Staff/0 semitones
4. Tools/Audit Accidentals

This will probably give you the result you're looking for.

Funny thing about brass players - they love flat keys!
As an Alto player I prefer C# to Db everytime.

I wrote a piece for a big band a few years ago that put the troms in G - one trom player suggested it would be better in a flat key.
I rewrote his part in C with F# written as Gb.
He wasn't amused!

Funny thing about guitar players - they HATE flat keys!
