Got Grace notes, now to turn BMW files into NWC

Grace Notes! I have been waiting over a year for them. Now to find a way to convert all the Bagpipe Music Writer (BMW) files to Noteworthy composer files. Anyone know if this is possible or better yet, has been done already?

Really? Is there a Bagpipe Music Writer? I'd love to see it. I'd imagine that the current route would be
BMW -> MIDI -> NWC
however, this'll wreck most of the grace notes.
They'll be there, but the note lengths may be a bit strange.
Could be worth a try, though.

Yes, there is a program called Bagpipe Music Writer.
It has been out for some time now but it is only a 16bit
version. They were supposed to be releasing a 32bin windows
version last year, then they moved it to last fall, then to
this spring now it's moved to this fall. I have also used
NWC for some time now but found it limited because it didn't
have the ability to do grace notes. Now that it does, it
has all the function of BMW exept the ability to profesionaly
format your sheet music and save as PS for printing.

There are thousands of bagpipe tunes available in BMW format
which is text based. I just need a way to conver the text,
which has all the formating, into the binary based NWC file.

If you have just discovered grace notes, you may not have discovered that NWC printing has vastly improved. I don't think you can put it into a postscript file, as far as I know.

To create a PS file, can't you just use the Windows generic PS printer and "Print To File"?

To create a PS file, can't you just copy from NWC and paste
into Adobe Pagemaker?

Thanks for all the PS help, but my original post was about a conversion utility to go from Bagpipe music Writer(BMW) format to NoteWorthy.

Bagpipe Music Writer is a great program for creating bagpipe sheet music and there are thousands of tunes available. The problem is they do not have a 32Bit version.
They are working on one but keep pushing the release date ahead, and have done so for the last year and a half. I thought it would be great to be able to use NoteWorthy instead but be able to read the BMW files.

There is a program that converts BMW to ABC format (both text based) and then one that converts ABC to PS. I have been using this to read the BMW files so far.

The other problem is the fact that you cannot place a gracenote in between two barred notes without breaking the barre. Hopfuly that will be "fixed" in future releases.

Doesn't exist any 16-bit version ? This should work on any 16- or 32-bits software...

Initially i bought BMW GOLD but i discovered the following programme purely by chance which appears to be exactly the same thing under a different name.

it is a free download with a file converter and appears to be for all intents and purposes the BMW GOLD
