Spacing between bar and the first note

Ideally, the spacing between the adjacent notes and the enclosing bar lines is expected to be equal. But in NWC the spacing between the starting bar line and the first note is always more compared to the spacing between first and second note (also to that of second note and ending bar line).

Is there anything wrong with my settings ?

Or is it supposed to be that way ???

There are no settings that affect that kind of layout. You can increase spacing (if you really want to) by using Insert Text to add preserved width spaces, but you cannot reduce spacing.
