I scanned a hymn using SharpEye 2.68, exported it to a .xml file and then created a .nwctxt file using the Niversoft MusicXML ↔ NoteWorthy converter. I am unable to edit the hymn lyrics to get them spaced to match the notes correctly.
Can I play a hymn on a midi keyboard, and have it show up in Noteworthy Composer? I would want half notes entered as half notes, quarters as quarters, etc. What I am after is transposing hymns without going through all of the steps I have to go through now, entering notes from scratch via the computer keyboard.
Also, if this is possible, which midi keyboard would be the best purchase?
