General Discussion / Re: G and G# together?
Thank you so much, Guys. Bill, you have solved my problem with very easy instructions - Thank you!
I think if I was playing this chord from sight for the first time, I would fumble over that chord. I'd be playing away thinking, what was that chord I was supposed to have played two bars back!
That's probably because I am not a great sight reader.
Once again, many thanks.

Grant

General Discussion / Re: G and G# together?

Hi Guys. The above theory is going way over my head. I don't know how to post an image in this message so I am posting the copy & paste info. Sorry. I hope someone more clever than me can create an image from the info so it can be posted for others to see what I am trying to do. (Hope this isn't too complicated).
I want to insert a G# in the second chord in the treble clef. I want it to be visible and to play.
Cheers Guys.
Regards,
Grant

General Discussion / G and G# together?
Hi Guys,
Is there a way in NWC2 to force G and G# in a chord to be played/displayed simultaneously without putting the two notes on different staves?
Thanks,
Grant

General Discussion / Authentic sounding Tremolando?
Hi guys,
My numerous attempts at a tremolando have failed miserably. They always sound like a machine gun firing. Does anybody have a quick, easy suggestion for a more realistic sounding tremolando?
As I don't know how to attach an example file, I have pasted the script that comes from copying and pasting the bar in question. Hope it makes sense to somebody!

General Discussion / Re: four crotchets in a 6/8 bar
Thanks, David. Writing duplets (compressing four crotchets into a 6/8 bar) is what is what I am trying to achieve. However, I didn't realise I couldn't do it (easily) in NWC.
Thanks for your input. It's greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
Grant

General Discussion / four crotchets in a 6/8 bar
Hi Guys,
A request for help here.
I am writing in 6/8 but want to write four crotchets in a treble line bar while maintaining the six quavers in the bass line bar underneath. Can anyone help me out here?
Thanks in advance,
Grant

General Discussion / Re: Got problems with Audigy 4 sound card
Thanks for your suggestions. I am using Ver 1.75b. My staff is set at Channel 1. The only difference in my system since the problem began is the new card. NWC is the same version I was using before changing the card. When I put back the SB Live 5.1 card I don't have the problem. When I put the Audigy 4 card in, the problem returns.

General Discussion / Got problems with Audigy 4 sound card
Hi Guys,
Does anyone run an Audigy 4 sound card without problem? I have been using SB Live 5.1 for some time without problem. When I upgraded to Audigy 4 I started get static popping, cymbal and drum beats and all sorts of sounds when keying in notes. There is no pattern to frequency, type of sound that occurs, etc, but if I have the sound up loud boy it scares the cr*p out of me!
Anyone got any ideas? Creative have been no help to me what so ever!! (surprise, surprise)
Cheers,
Grant
