I'm asking because sometimes when I have around 20 staffs, each with its own instrument - one staff would contaminate another.
For example, I am sequencing an orchestral piece, I set a staff to play french horn but it will sound off as the instrument of the staff above it (such as string ensemble)
I know already how to set crescendo/decrescendo on notes already playing. The only problem is, the sound doesn't swell/soften to the degree I want by the time the note is finished.
Let's say I want a whole note to start pp and end ff. By the time the note is finished playing, it swelled to a certain volume-- but definitely not ff.
