Hi. Thanks, Bill and Lawry, for your help. I'm implimenting your suggestions, and it's better, although I'm having some trouble with timing. Hopefully I'll figure out what I'm doing wrong and get it right. Thanks again!
Hi. This is my first post to the forum, although I've been using NWC for years. I love the program, but I do have a problem that I haven't been able to solve.
I write Gospel songs, and often there are repeats of lyrics where the lead singer sings a line and the harmony parts repeat it. How do I notate this kind of thing so that my repeat lyrics aren't "taking up" the notes that should go to the next lead line? I know that assigning harmony notes will do the trick, but often I'm setting the song up with just the lead notes. This is because I don't usually write the harmony parts, and I don't have them when setting the song up. Is there another way? Thanks!
