Dynamic Variance bug?

The help text for 1.70 (love all the new features BTW!) explains how dynamic variance works, and states that only "cresc." and "decresc." actually affect the MIDI output.

I want "dim." to do just that, so I inserted a hidden "decresc." as well as the visible "dim.", but it seems that the presence of the "dim." dynamic variance object stops the "decresc." from doing its job! I can (and do) work around the problem by inserting the "dim." as a text item, but it seems a bit silly that I have to do it this way.

Am I being unreasonable in wanting "dim." to be made MIDI-active like "decresc."? As a programmer myself I can't believe it should be that difficult to do.

I agree, a dim. that effects midi output would be an easy and useful enhancement. Dim. is less than half the length of Decresc. so scores with lots of dynamic changes would look significantly less cluttered.

The "decresc." item will still do its job if it is put after the "dim." instead of before it.
