bringing a selected note something higher or lower ???

Hello, Can someone help me,
I remember that it is possible to select one or more notes is a score (staff) and higher or lower them ( not the stem), but i cannot find how, because i don't know how this manipulation is named.
Pse answer me !!

G'day Guy,
simply select the note(s) and press <Shift-Ctrl-Up/Dn Arrow>.  This will move the note(s) up or down the staff one line or space for each press of the arrow key.
I plays 'Bones, crumpets, coronets, floosgals, youfonymums 'n tubies.

Hi Lawrie,
I may just echo  what you 're saying in that ,that sure is one magic feature that really saves a lot of drudgery, also with changing clefs as depicted in the help section.
