duplets

Given that NoteWorthy handles triplets reasonably well, how
come it won't do duplets? Or am I missing something.

You're not missing anything. It just won't at the moment. Several of us have suggested generic n-tuplets, to cope with every situation.

I agree n-tuplets would be marvellous. I started to transcribe
some Ben. Britten the other day until I realised I needed
pentuplets .. hmmmm!

I'd still like < crescendo and > dim. signs too.

n-tuplets would be great. I have wished for them on more than one occasion, as well as < cresc and > dim. Still really happy with my NWC purchase though. How many other software companies provide such excellent support.

Hairpin dynamic marks, n-tuplets, collapsible rests ...
always cropping up in wishlist entries and forum postings,
these :-} though I agree that these lasting niggles aside,
NoteWorthy is a good example that does a specific job well.

Specific reply to Sergio's question - UltraEdit is an
excellent (commercial) editor that I use both at work and
at home, and Ian Mead gives first-class support. I seize
this chance of proclaiming my good opinion!
