Using soundcard extra midi controllers

I was wondering always why NWC does not provide under the mpc all of the soundcards' midi control devices such as modulation, reverb, chorus and sustain. Then it occured to me that probably the soundcards available in the market do not have the same controller addresses (?) for the same functions (apart from the main ones such as volume and pan positioning) or that they do not all provide these effects.
Maybe in one of the forthcoming versions NWC will provide such support for the most widely used soundcards, information easily obtained by a survey performed on this website. However it would be interesting to know how one can enter such midi controler commands in the scores so that they can be activated and performed during playback.

Many midi programs let you choose from a list of 0-127 controllers... it would be nice if Noteworthy could be customized to add the controllers you wanted to use, especially since Noteworthy has such a nice menu for setting controllers. Easy to do pans, volume fadeouts.. would be nice with things like chorus.. etc.
