Measure numbers in edit mode

In NWC 2, I'm only seeing measure numbers on the top staff when editing. I think in older versions, it showed on all staves. Is this a change in NWC2, or am I doing something wrong?

You are remembering wrong. Display of measure numbers has not changed. What has changed is that the measure number of the current staff (or selection) is now displayed on the status bar.
