Up and down bow symbols.

I would like to be able to include the symbols for up and down bow strokes in my music. The up bow can be done by inserting text with a value of 'V' but I cannot find a way of including a down bow symbol.

Here's a "bodgy" fix for a downbow that seems to work in Windows 3.1. Open the "text expression" window; select bold font and preserve width off; then in the Expression box hold the "alt" key down and type 0124 on the numeric keypad. Release the "alt" key. This should produce a vertical line. Repeat the procedure using 0175. This produces a horizontal line at the top of the vertical line. Repeat the "0124" for the final vertical. The symbol generated should be quite recognizeable to string players. You can then copy and paste the symbol in other parts of the score to save time.
