Guitar chord symbols

Hello all,

In the old forum for version 1, I saw a listing for "noterow" - a way to insert guitar chord charts.  Does that exist in version 2?  How do I insert chord charts?

Thanks

I think that the "noterow" system used the NWC 1.75 clipboard. I haven't seen any indication of a user tool that accomplishes a similar task, and the NWC2 clipboard format is different, so the original tool may not work without modifications.

G'day 'pianner,
for the fretboard symbols, they can be constructed with a font called "fretqwik" available from the Scripto: http://nwc-scriptorium.org/ftp/helpful/fretqwik400k.zip

Here are instructions for it's use by the author, RobertA:

When I use it, I have wordpad open and construct the symbol in there.  This way I can have the name of the chord in a legible font and beside it the symbol in the fretqwik font.  Thus I only ever have to construct any chord once, and then I can just copy and paste it from wordpad into my text entries.  Save the wordpad file any time it gets updated and you never have to lose that hard work.

You DO need to know how chords are constructed on the guitar - a chord chart is invaluable.  BTW, you can also do other fretted instruments - there are 6 and 4 string fretboards.

Unfortunately I know of no expert system available to do this work for you.
I plays 'Bones, crumpets, coronets, floosgals, youfonymums 'n tubies.
