crescendos

I try to create a crescendo effect by using the linear volume sweep on attached notes.
This is done on many instruments together (4 or 5). The problem is that some of the
instruments are not heard afte a few beats. If the rest instruments are muted then the one
that is left to play crescends neatly. If more han two instruments are to be played together,
the crescending instruments silence up. Bug?

This could be a bug in your sound card, or could be a consequence of how you have assigned your MIDI channels and constructed your multi-point controller sequences. You should probably experiment with the mechanism until you figure out which is the problem in your case.
