What do you think of these ideas?

I'd just quickly like to make some suggestions:

* no dotted crochet rests when midi files are imported.
(because there's half a chance that the beat falls halfway into the crochet. Others might be able to explain that better)
(I've also never seen dotted crochets in music, because it makes it harder for the performer to read [to count the beats])

* in status bar show program number and channel for active staff.

The idea with the status bar is good.

Another thing (these are suggestions; I still love NoteWorthy) is when making drum tracks the notes below the middle line of the staff should have their stems pointing down, while the notes above the middle line of the staff should have their stems pointing up. (when they add the feature to add Xs for drums notes, they'll no doubt include that guideline too :)
