Slur oddity

Why  does the first bar's bottom slur have a completely diffent appearance to that in the third bar?

G'day Adam,
I know it sounds bizarre but it's the last chord, not the first that's the difference...

If you notice, in the last chord of the first slurred section, the tied note (stem up, Pos 6) is stated before the slur destination (stem down Pos2 -4,3)

The last chord in the second slurred section is the other way round, the  tied note (stem up, Pos 6) is stated before the slur destination (stem down Pos2 -6,1)

Do you see what I mean?  Dunno if this is a useful quirk or if it should be fixed...

That said, are you trying to say the order of entering the notes (i.e. temporal order) in the last chord makes a difference in the slur shape?  How can one tell?  Or are you saying the order is positional?  I can't see a difference in left to right positions.

The difference is in the order within the clip.

Hmm. If it's going to result in different slur forms, it'd be useful to give us control of it.

I have a feeling it's one of those little unexpected things often seem to crop up when you write code.  While this quirk may give us some control when notating "split" chords, it won't be helpful for single note to single note...

I'd rather see an additional parameter in the note properties that allows us to define, in addition to slur upwards or downwards, slur from/to notehead or stem and partway up stem...
