File association 2006-01-05 07:11 pm When I try to open a NWC file from Windows Explorer or some other file manager, Windows tries NWC 1.75 and complains about mismatch. I have tried to change this in File Associations, but it does not work for XP users without admin privileges.What can I do? Do I have to uninstall 1.75?Sven Quote Selected
Re: File association Reply #1 – 2006-01-05 07:35 pm If you install the NWC2 Viewer, it includes a launching mechanism that can automatically direct *.nwc files to the corresponding version of NWC (version 1 files open in NWC1, and version 2 files open in NWC2). You will probably have some trouble, though, if you are not logged in as an Administrator. Quote Selected
