How do you create this?

How do you make a group of notes into a nine tuplet?

Other than triplets, NWC does not yet support "n-tuplets."  It's a feature that has been asked for, a number of times.

You can fake it by using one of the user fonts to place text-based brackets and a small number over the figure.  If you have more than one part, though, you will need to pad the other staffs with hidden rests.  If playback is important, you might adjust the tempo just before the nano-tuplet, making the tempo marking invisible, then reset it back to the original tempo again immediately after.  The multipoint controller can be used for that too.

Hi Foobunny.

You can actually turn your 9 notes into a "ninetuplet" for playback purposes by selecting them and pressung <Ctrl-T>.

For printing, there is a reasonable work-around.  The above procedure will beam quavers (or shorter notes) or place a triplet bracket for crotchets or longer notes.  In either case it will place "3" to suggest a triplet.  By inserting a text 9 to the left of the 3 you can locate it to cover the 3 by juggling spaces before the number,

I have just tried over-riding the 3 with a 9 and it worked quite well.

Good luck
