Remember me

What's the purpose of the box 'Remember me' in the window for entering messages onto the forum ?
If I don't check it, wil everyone forget me?

It's not Noteworthy-specific. You will find that it saves you time, the next time you visit the page. Quite useful. On the other hand, it might just raise a privacy-concern. To do with cookies and such (no girl scout jokes please?)

what it does is it will save the name that is currently in the name box and automaticly enter it in all other forum posts

So I thought it would do, but it didn't.

But in the help-link of the forum , there's a button "Establish my identify" that does make such a cookie.
