Player command line

Is there a way to open Player and load a song
which then begins to play? My intention is to
have a copy of player on a web site which can
be loaded and will play and show the song and
"bouncing ball" without downloading a complete
copy of the Player to the user's computer. If
the browser supports exe files and such will
open and present the user with Player, then all
he needs is a song . . .

Of course the alternative is to give him the
Player software (or URL for same) and let him
download that which can then be programmed to
open in his browser's "helper apps" when he
comes on a nwc file, but is there a simpler way?

The player now support /play and /close arguments on the command line. You still must install the program on a user's machine, however (in order to install the font, setup associations and uninstall capability, etc). The command arguments are covered in the Technical help of the player, under the "Starting playback as soon as a file is loaded" section.
