Crescendos on a single note..

I can not get crescendos to happen on a single note! It seems to work fine in the demo file, but in my scores it does not work.

What's up?

You need to use an MPC.
Look around in the Help file to see how to do this, and experiment with it.
Took me a while...

You can also do it with Dynamic Variance, but:

your Dynamics change must specify an increase of MIDI volume (MIDI velocity determines how hard a note is struck, which only happens once for a note)
and, your sound card must respond to volume changes on notes that are already playing (you can test this with the
voltest.nwc file)
