Note Size

Note Size

Whenever I print a file out, the notes always end up the same size. While I can adjust the staff and lyric size, I can't adjust the note size (and they're too small for comfort). Is there any way to fix this?

Sure, you can make them large enough to read from across a room if you want.

File / Page Setup / Options tab / Staff size (in points).

The range is 4 to 40. Something around 12-16 should be adequate. A little fine tuning with this setting and the margins setting should get you where you need to be.

Also, hit ALT and + or - to shrink or make it bigger if you want a quicker keyboard shortcut.

Sorry Everett, Alt+'+' and Alt+'-' are related to view only, not size at print time.
Keith is right. For a quick key to have access to this value, the quickest I know is:
1st time: Alt, F, G, Alt+Home, Ctrl+PgDn, Alt+S (Alt+Home goes to first tab, Ctrl+PgDn goes one tab right)
next times: Alt, F, G, Alt+S
then Up and down (or directly a number) can be used to modify the size value.
