I'm not sure I understand what you're looking for, and since no-one else has answered I suspect I'm not alone. If you want more than one note at a particular time (sharing the same stem) use the "chord" function. Enter the first note, then move the insertion point up or down as needed and enter the second note by pressing CNTL Enter, and so on. More information on this is in the "Chord Member" part of the help file. Click on "Index" in the help system, enter "chord" in the "Type the first few letters..." field, and there you go.

I know that there are some of you who may think that Andy's question would have answered itself had he known the correct term, "chord." Evidently Fred was able to figure it out. But hear this:

In Paris (yes, France) I came across a vending maching with instructions that read, in French, "Insert your credit card. This machine does not accept credit cards." I can passably read French but thought perhaps my idiom was obsolete. So I pressed a button to translate into English. It read, "Insert your credit card. This machine does not accept credit cards."

The confusion, in both languages, was caused by using the same term to mean a special vending-machine card (issued locally) rather than an international banking card.
