How can I convert midi to wave?

I'm using NWC to convert .nwc to .mid. Now I need to convert .mid to .wav so I can put my songs on a CD.

I downloaded an app called WAVMaker III but can't get it to run. It asks for .prg files which are not included and I don't know if (or how) to make them.

It's supposed to be an evaluation copy, but unless I'm missing something, it's too seriously crippled to be any good.

Can anyone help me convert these files to .wav? I would appreciate it.

Regards,
Gordon

also https://forum.noteworthycomposer.com/?topic=1930 .
if you don't want to use your sound card, you may audio compositor, but on a 166MHz Pentium (not PIII!) it takes 30 minutes for 3 seconds.
On more recent PCs, it takes much more, and you can use soundfonts.
HTH!

Well, there are all sorts of software components you could use... but to keep it simple and to do away with the need for downloading all this stuff. Just use your current Midi composer and good old windows Recored. Set your system Mixer (Windows Mixer) to record nothing but Midi or Synth and appon hitting the record button in the windows recorder, Hit the play button in your midi software. That will record the samples in real time to your hard drive as wav files. If you have any problems... Try using the Midi Mapper as your "Midi Play Device" (This you set up in your midi software. Oh and by the way... I hope you have a Full Duplex sound card.

Best of luck...

P.S. Alternative... Download a Win amp plugin at http://www.blorp.com/%7Epeter/midihelp/ to do this for you...
