e-mail group

I have recently joined the e-mail list on the viola web site http://www.viola.com. It has a forum on yahoo which is not as well organised as noteworthy but has a phenomenal usage. This is because you can opt to receive all new messages as e-mails so 1 you are alerted and 2 it is much easier to reply in the course of daily activity. This would be nice on noteworthy too. Does anyone agree?

I've been on a few mail lists in the past, and generally found them to be a nuisance. Just my two bits' worth.

Peter, have you visited the NWC newsgroup? It might be just what you're looking for.

I make big use of the Recent Activity page on this forum.
The newsgroup at http://news://news2.ezusa.net/ntworthy.nwc is a regular newsgroup, which means you can download articles (and attaachments) and read offline if you prefer.
