transposing a piece of music

Please,

I am a complete newbie and know very little about musical theory.

I play Irish traditional music on the penny whistle, which has only six holes. My understanding is that the when blown the sixth hole represents a D, ie the space immediately below the staff.

Sometimes I come across pieces of Irish music that extends down below the staff to B or A.

Can Noteworthy transpose this music upwards so that I can play it on my whistle and how is this transposing done automatically ?

thanks
