OCR and NWC 28 years ago Can Noteworthy be used to edit the output from any music OCR packages? There is a package called Musitek MIDIScan which interfaces with notation packages using a file transfer format called Notation Interchange File Format (NIFF). Is this something which could eventually be compatible with NWC? Quote Selected
Re: OCR and NWC Reply #1 – 28 years ago At this time, be sure to save the midiscan file into a .mid format. When working with midiscan, I sometimes find it easiest to make the broad brush editing (key, time, clef) initially thru midiscan, save the result in a .mid format, and then import into Noteworthy for the "finer" editing. Noteworthy is a bit more user friendly.Hope that helps. Quote Selected
Re: OCR and NWC Reply #2 – 28 years ago I'd be interested if Noteworthy considered NIFF the way to go.Whilst it looks like a good broadbased and open file format, not many companies have decided to use it yet.Any comments, Eric?Andrew Quote Selected
