Drum music 26 years ago When writing drum rolls in drum music a roll played with demi-semiquavers for the count of a smeibrave (say) would be written by placing a smibreve in the bar with 3 backward tails over the note. This save the mess of writting 32 demi-semiquavers in one bar. Is there any way of getting noteworthy to do this.Bongo (Derby Midshipmen Marching Band) www.middies.demon.co.uk Quote Selected
Re: Drum music Reply #1 – 26 years ago These "tremolo bars" are available in Barry Graham's "Boxmarks" font. For the staff that does the sounding you'll still need to write out the actual notes, but you can have a second muted "visual" staff for printing or viewing. If you don't have Boxmarks yet, I strongly suggest getting it because it has become the de facto standard "accessory" font for NWC. You can pick it up from the Scriptorium at:helpful.htmlRegards,Fred Quote Selected
