Title: Converting Scores to .GIF
Post by: Darcy Watkins, on 1997-04-16 04:00 am
Using the 16 bit program, go to Print Preview, then press the Copy button. Answer "No" and save it as a .BMP file. Use LView to read in the .BMP file. Reduce the size to 50% or less, crop off the margins, set the transparent GIF color to "white" and then Save As a .GIF-89a file. Embed this into your web page.

I crop off the title and the copyright info and then add it back to the web page using HTML and just embed the big .GIF file in the middle.

Since the .GIF file is two color (black and white [background]) the size of the file is actually quite small.

Hope this inspires someone.
