Can you change the instrument sound on certain measures on a staff without changing the entire staff?
Yes, at the point you want the instrument change, press key "I" . you can then select a new instrument from that point onwards.
To change back, simply press the "I" key at the required point and enter the original instrument.
Be careful to make sure that each staff with a different instrument has a different channel number or you may get problems.
