Post by: lawrroc on 2013-10-10 06:55 pm
Today on the score appeared a gray band. How can I remove it?
Thank you.

There are several options on the View Menu (http://ntworthy.com/nwc2/help/SUBMNU_VIEW.htm):
Unchecking one or more might remove the "gray band".

I tried to select/deselect all entries in the various combinations of the "View" menu, with no results. The gray band disappears only with the "Viewer mode". I changed my PC, it can be a problem in Windows 8?
Thank you.

There are several "gray bands" that can occur in current editions of NWC, but from what you just said (that it disappears in Viewer Mode), I suspect that you are referring to the gray band that indicates the active staff. If that's the case, you can get rid of it by going to Tools/Options, clicking on the Color tab, and making the Active Background the same color as the Editor Background.

If this isn't what you are trying to do, please be more specific about the location of the "gray band."

Exactly! The gray band was the default background color of the active staff, which I had unwittingly set.
Thank you very much.
