Title: Slur and Triplet
Post by: Peppermint Lin on 2010-12-10 08:05 am
<See attachment>

At the red-circled area, the slurs look not so good - the slur moves so exaggerated-ly.
(and I'm not so good at expression.. :-D)

And I don't like the triplets' shape. The beam direction and the triplet direction aren't same.

IMO, triplet bracket and beam slants should not be opposing. A bug.

A fix to both problems in my attachment. Not perfect, as the grace notes should not disturb the spacing of the 8th notes in the lower staff, but I think that a fix for that is "in the pipeline".

Thanks, Rick, and I applied it to my file :)
I'm gonna upload it to Scripto! Many thanks, I'm not genius to think like that.

I'd like to be able to force the triplet bracket to be above the staff, regardless of stem direction.    I see it as being a tweak of the stem side articulation option.

It's probably wrong in music theory, but it sometimes would be handy.
