Title: Printing extra large staff abd notes for hard of seeing (NWC2)
Post by: bilmar on 2010-02-11 04:38 pm
How do I print extra large musical scores for those folks who are hard of seeing the smaller notes, etc. This is for an upgaraded from NWC1.75 to NWC2. Before the upgrade I went to page setup and raised the size up to 40 points. Now what do I have to do to get the same results in NWC2?

To change staff size in NWC2:
Select Page Setup --> Fonts--> Staff Metrics Change --> set to 40 (if you want 40pt staff size)
Click Ok

Click OK

Slight change to Haymo's response.

If you Go to Page Setup --> Fonts--> Staff Metrics Change --> set to 40 (if you want 40pt staff size)
Then if you want all fonts (including user fonts) to change correspondingly, just make sure that the box that says
"Proportionately Scale Other Staff Font Sizes"  is checked.

Then all fonts used in that score will be proportionately re-sized.
You do not need to change each font.

Forget this - I got it wrong - See Bill's post. Staff fonts - not user fonts. Tut Tut. Slap round wrist !

Actually, Rich, user fonts don't change size when you check the "proportionately scale...." box. Check it out. All the others adjust, but user fonts stay the same.

Just keepin' ya on th' straight 'n' narrow....

Thanks Bill, for keeping me on the straight and narrow. I'm going straight to gaol.
I'm not passing go and I won't collect £200 (or dollars or whatever).

No problema. Ain't nothin' compared to some of the things I've said without checking 'em out first. Don't want to brag, but....

straight to gaol.

In honour of the Winter Olympics which started here in the banana belt yesterday, and in view of the fact the current event is Women's Hockey, Switzerland versus Sweden, I'd change that to "straight to goal."

Hi ho, hi ho, it's off to band I go...
