Some of my notes are playing like if they were staccato. and i made sure they weren't. Does it have anything to do with other instruments having the same rhythm?
The most likely candidate is simply NWC's default marcato setting. That can sound like staccato, particularly on short notes. Try specifying a legato performance style, or put a slur mark over the offending notes. If that doesn't work, come back to us and we'll see what else we can come up with.
