Title: Where are all those Bach cantatas?
Post by: Rob den Heijer on 2009-02-17 12:39 pm
Hi all,
I can spend hours searching the Internet for .nwc files of Bach cantatas, or even Midi-files.
So far, I have not found that many. For instance, we are currently working on cantata 37 (Wer da glaubet und getauft wird). In PDF, everything is available... but Noteworthy? Sadly, no.
Or am I overlooking sources?
cheers,
Rob.

Hi, Rob -

Does this help any?

http://www.icking-music-archive.org/ByComposer/J.S.Bach.php#bach29

I found it from a link to a link off the ChoralWiki page:  http://www.cpdl.org/wiki/index.php/Main_Page

It does, John, thanks.
But there are still many, many cantatas that still have to make it to the Internet.
I wonder how many years it will take to reach 100 % !
(and how many more years until everything is correct(ed) )
cheers,
Rob.

There is a Bach Cantata Project.

It shows big gaps... but it's under way.

Looking a bit closer to home, I found...

Well, still many to Noteworthy-ise, but hey, at least I can print 'em.
