Title: How to flip a fermata
Post by: Pilmer on 2008-05-02 08:07 pm
Just found out how to flip a fermata.

Insert a fermata as usual.

Then select the fermata and rightclick. Choose properties.
At the Expression Placement TAB the standard positioin is 9.
Decrease the position to -9 and the fermata will flip downwards.

Hope this is helpfull.

You can also select the fermata, and then use Ctrl+Shift+Up/Down to move it into the desired position.

Must only work in NWC2...  it's right-side-up in 1.75c after moving it down.

The inverted fermata is a NWC2 feature:

It is a lower case t in the NWC2STDA font; the lower case y will give a regular fermata.  Click here (http://bellsouthpwp.net/w/b/wbport/chess_etc/NWC2STDA.htm) for a display.
