This is a possible solution to a long-standing problem.
Two immediate snags. You can't tripletize a single dotted note, and you can't beam a rest/note combination so beamed quaver triplets are still a no-no.
Thanks Peter,
I was just listening and I love the sustain effect very useful for CG guitar parts .
G'day Peter,
now I've had a better look at this there are some interesting possibilities, but I don't think I'd like to notate an entire piece this way...
Still, an effective solution for shorter sections.
Nor would I. It would be much easier if we had control over triplet placing and an option not to show any articulations etc at all.
And a thought. Why do RestChords have 'Articulation on Stem' ticked when they can't have articulations?
G'day Peter,
Umm, 'cos the notes in the restchord can, maybe..?
So they can: but only if you put them in when entering the note.
But try taking them out or putting them in by editing the combination. That's just bizarre.
